To get the most out of your new aromatherapy candle, it's helpful to follow a few tips and tricks, all of which are mentioned below!

    • When lighting your candle for the first time, and each time thereafter, allow the wax to melt all the way out to the edge of its container (typically for 2 to 4 hours). This helps prevent "memory rings" and tunnelling, promoting an even burn.

    • Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow it to cool for 2 hours between each burn.

    • Always keep your wick trimmed to 1/4". This prevents mushrooming of the wick, allows for a slower burn and prevents any build-up of soot. Be careful not to allow any trimmings to fall into the wax, as this creates a fire hazard.

    • Always be sure to burn your candle on an even-levelled surface, away from any drafts or other heat sources. Otherwise, your candle may burn unevenly and quicker than usual.

    • When you have 1/2" of wax left at the bottom of your candle, it's time to say goodbye. It's important not to burn your candle completely, as it may cause the container to overheat.

    • Keep your candle away from direct sunlight and hot environments, as this may cause¬†defects in candle performance.

    • Never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of flammable objects, children or pets.
