CANDLE CARE

To get the most out of your candle, it's helpful to follow tips on candle care that are discussed below!
.
When lighting your candle for the first time, each time thereafter, allow the wax to melt all the way out to the edge of its container. This helps prevent "memory rings" and tunnelling, promoting an even burn.
Always keep your wick trimmed to 1/4". This prevents mushrooming of the wick, allows for a slower burn and prevents any build-up of soot. Be careful not to allow any trimmings to fall into the wax, as this creates a fire hazard.
When you have 1/2" of wax left at the bottom of your candle, it's time to say goodbye. It's important not to burn your candle completely, as it may cause the container to overheat.
Always be sure to burn your candle on an even-levelled surface, away from any drafts or other heat sources. Otherwise, your candle may burn unevenly and quicker than usual.
Keep your candle away from direct sunlight and hot environments, as this may cause defects in candle performance.
Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow it to cool for 2 hours between each burn.
Never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of flammable objects, children or pets.
